Where do I wobble as a writer? Pretty much everywhere. I wobble when I am deciding on a topic to write about. I wobble as I continue to develop my ideas throughout a piece of writing. I wobble when I am editing my work.
There isn't a moment in time when I don't wobble as a writer. Most of the time, it's because I second-guess myself, but at least I recognize that.
In the Unfamiliar Genre Project, I expect there to be a substantial amount of wobbling. It is intimidating writing in a genre that you've never used before on a topic that most people have a strong opinion on when you aren't the most confident writer in the first place. But I hope that this wobbling, and my hesitancy with writing, will turn into flow and confidence.

Whilst wobbling, I plan to persevere to get through it. If I don't tell myself to just keep going, just get my ideas on paper, just write something, then I probably won't produce a product that I am proud of. I will just start with something, anything. Because even if my initial ideas are terrible, it's a starting point, and I can only improve from there.
